Our Story
I fell in love with baking at a young age. Making Thanksgiving pies with my mom and my sister are some of my fondest memories growing up.
When my first child turned 1 and her dad was deployed to Afghanistan, I decided I was going to make her a cute cake and threw all of my energy and efforts into planning her party and cake design to help distract from the fact that her daddy wasn't there. That's really where this all began, wanting to make my children's birthday cakes special as a way to show them how much I loved them.
Since that first cake for my daughter 10 years ago, I discovered how much I truly love making and decorating cakes and last year decided to turn it into a business. I am constantly learning, watching, experimenting and studying to improve my skills and fine tune my recipes.
Cakes are meant to celebrate special occasions and I believe a beautiful and delicious cake can help create a wonderful memory of a special day.
I am a mom to 3 beautiful children-a girl 10, and two boys 8 and 4. We are an Air Force family and my husband is a critical care nurse on active duty for 11 years now with 3 overseas deployments. We have lived in Texas, Nevada, and now San Diego. I try to bring a little joy with my cakes and treats wherever we are.
